The Best of Spring with Boston Proper

Spring fashion never looked better! It’s almost spring and time to refresh your closet with a few new fun and versatile pieces from Boston Proper!

It’s still a little cool here in North Carolina even though we’ve had some warmer days. The flowers are blooming and everything is getting green which makes my winter wardrobe seem old and tired. The trick in springtime is staying warm until the temperatures start to creep up, so layering is a must!

As I get older, I want to add pieces that follow the current trends but are timeless and classic at the same time!

I love wearing jackets in the spring because they add a layer of warmth when the weather is cool and also add interest to an outfit. This season, you’ll find beautiful leather jackets in fabulous spring colors like the fabulous blue peplum jacket I’m wearing here from Boston Proper! It’s so flattering and perfect with white but also looks amazing with black, denim and even pink. It’s a jacket you’ll reach for often.

I've paired the jacket with slit front trousers (another spring trend) and a v-neck tank. Strappy sandals dress this outfit up for any event. Again, as with the jacket, the slit front trousers will be your go-to pants for the season!

The sheer trend is huge this spring and the blouse I’m wearing here is a gorgeous, elegant example! Perfect for cocktails…this organza blouse features balloon sleeves and pearl detail. It comes with the separate silk cami underneath. White jeans and strappy sandals make this blouse ideal for cocktails at home, but it can easily be dressed up for a more formal occasion!

I’ve featured this look previously on the blog, but I thought it deserved another mention because it’s so wearable! It’s an elevated every day look that you’ll want to put on over and over! This neutral look features white jeans, a white tank and a tan sweater…all from Boston Proper. I added white sneakers and a belt to complete this look!
